About Me

I was born in St Paul, MN but moved a lot in my childhood. This contributed to my very early, life-long love of travel and adventure. From the outer islands of Tahiti to the tops of Nepal, I have spent many years traveling and living overseas. I have fallen in love with adventure, fascinating people, cultures and flavors. I enjoy lasting friendships with many of those I’ve met along the way.

Painting is a way for me to capture my travel experiences. It allowed me to express the joys and curiosities of lands unlike my own. If you have traveled, especially overseas, for any length of time, you know you are never the same. Travel has changed me, painting has changed me. Hopefully all for the better as I see life and this world in a beautiful new way.

I must give thanks to the Creator who made this amazing world for us to enjoy! You can see the beauty of diversity in the way He made the Earth and all the peoples, animals, and plants. He didn’t have to create us with taste buds YET you can taste the spectacular flavors of different cuisine all over the world – I’m so thankful for taste buds! He didn’t have to create such diversity YET how fortunate are we to enjoy such a variety of languages, cultures, and lands – each with value, each with something to teach us. He made all of this and I stand in awe of Him! He is truly the Master Creator. I hope to honor Him here through my own creations. Come celebrate creation and the Creator God with me and be inspired!
